The API Teams

Welcome to Anomalous Phenomena Investigations International (API)

Founded in December 2004

API United Kingdom (UK) is the founding team of Anomalous Phenomena Investigations International,  based in the North East of England. The team was the originally conceived by Cindy Nunn, the main founder and with Colin Nunn and Chris and Jo Carnegie as co-founders the team became a reality. During the first year API UK had anywhere from 15 to over 20 team members. Unfortunately a number of these members were also involved as members on other local teams, which made it very difficult to arrange investigations. As a result API UK was whittled down to a much smaller and more manageable team membership which now consists of Cindy & Colin Nunn, Chris & Jo Carnegie,  Ivan Brown, Sharon Cobb and Kevin Curry.

 The API Florida team was formed by Cindy Nunn and Cheryl Natriello, who have known each other for many years now. They have been successfully running three of the most popular genealogy groups on the internet since 2003 and felt that they could be equally successful in forming a Florida team, which launched the start of API International. All of the members of this team have put in great efforts and as a result it is a very tight and well run group. Current members of API Florida are Cheryl Natriello and Trish  Long. Although this team at one time had 10 members it is now under restructure.

The API Alaska team was formed by Cindy Nunn and Lisa Cloran. Cindy and Lisa have known each other for five years after meeting through Cindy and Cheryl's genealogy groups. Lisa was promoted to manager of one of the genealogy groups and due to her skills and abilities she was asked to come aboard the API team as manager of the Alaska team. Due to the weather conditions in Alaska, as well as other considerations the Alaska team is still in its beginning stages, with the hope of getting the team in the field by August. Once things get moving I think this team is going to be as successful as API UK and Florida. Current members of API Alaska are Lisa & Scott Cloran and Amber Glenzel.

The API California team was formed by Cindy Nunn and Greg George. Cindy and Greg went to school together in California and have known each other for over 30 years. Due to urgent personal commitments of team members this team is still in the early formation stages but will soon be taking off in a big way. Cindy will personally be heading this team and with the help of other members it is expected to be very successful. Current members of API California are Cindy & Colin Nunn, Randi Bowles-Meetzen, and Greg & Brian George.

 

The API Texas team is still in its infancy stages, with John Clark as the appointed manager. We hope to have this team staffed and in the field by late 2008 or early 2009.

 

The API South Africa team, to be managed by Sharon Brentnall Wright, is currently under consturction.
